You accusing him of putting a IX series bumper on his VIII is a bit far fetched. By the same token i could photoshop a MIVEC symbol on to my valve cover.

For real, you can tell it's a IX because it has the different seats with the suede inserts in the middle along with everything else (wheels,smoked tails & bumper).

With getting into hte "mivec" i feel the evo8 is a helluva lot moreof a TRUE evo. this switch by mitsu has diverted the path of the 4g63 in a whole new direction.

The 4g63 is now a 4g56 which sounds kind of weird but I think I'll get used to it. Congrats on the sweet ride

I was just wondering. For all the haters, why don't you just call HB mitsu and ask to see if they have evo 9's. Why is it so hard to believe. You put a deposit and get your evo. Its not a secret that they are out.

this is true of most generations of the Evo. If you look at the VI's intercooler, its really off center. it doesn't look bad imo. It has a positve effect on cooling efficiency and its not a manufacturing defect.

just a quick update... i installed hid's over the weekend. they look amazing however i need to adjust the headlights.

I can tell ya those headlight adjustments are a pretty ****ty design.
