I stopped by last night to look at the Black IX that Huntington Beach Mitsubishi has, the one that arrived on the same shipment as yours. It's sweet looking. Good to know they aren't adding on the "ADM" that most dealers will. Frankly, I was surprised that it was still there last night. I figured someone would have already purchased it.

as I have said before the IX rear spoiler vertical supports are actually made out of ABS, where as the Evo VIII rear spoiler was all carbon, hence the reason why the vertical supports are painted to match the rest of the car, as ABS plastic looks cheap when left unpainted.
Carbon is a more pleasing material to look at when it is naked.
the Spark plugs are also different on the IX, to help with cooling the threads are longer, and the weather strip issues have apparently been corrected around the A pillar.
