so how does it drive.... compared to evo VIII's?

 

never driven a vii but compared to the 8 this feels like it has a bigger motor. much more low end power and less lag of course.

I think the small ducts are directed towards the piping of the intercooler so that the cooling effect is greater. As only the bumper has changed (no chassis change), so they could not make it fit exactly center...I think.... just my .02c

 

i'd like to see the engine and the interior.....

 

Because if you make the mouth small enough to cover more of one side than the other you cover a small amount of the surface cooling area side that is off centerline.

Who cares if the IC is off center, really?
