Injen Intake w/ hks ssq vta

Does anyone use the Injen Intake w/ the hks ssq blow off valve set up. Im wondering if the flange can be welded into the pipes or the metal is not the right kind or too thin. Does anyone have this welded into the inken upper ic pipe, if so can u please post pics. thanx

Of Course You Can Weld It, Why Would You Noy Be Able To? You Can Weld Metal As Thin As .034 Thick And Not Warp It,(well If You Know Anything About Welding)

Have you already bought both of these items? If not, I'd recommend not getting either, but rather a drop-in filter and JDM MR DV while retaining the stock piping. You will save $500 and the car will run better.

If you already bought these, then of course you can weld a flange on the UICP...

stock drop in's are usless almost, intakes will give you so much more boost response,

Useless? Well, they don't give a LOT of power, but neither do aftermarket intakes. I would say the K&N drop-in gives good enough "boost response" to hit 12-flat without cams, win lots of autocrosses, and wreak havoc on the road course.

personally I went with a k&n with a MAF adaptor and the APS BOV.....I raced an MR with the exact setup you want when all I had was a stock car and smoked him. He couldnt believe that I had nothing on it. Could have been the driver too, but that is my experience
