removing undertray??
Just is case people are planning any of the following mods and are questioning keeping the undertray on or off because of their modding plans:
Here is what I have done under the car with out removing it, or only removing the center "screwed" section and front passenger corner.
DP (duh! :-)
Lower IC pipe
HotSide install (and therefore the O2 Sensor and Housing can be done as well)
I could also get to the rest of the turo as far as I can tell but haven't tried it. Also looks like the radiator could come out, might just need to do the center piece if even that.
Having removed it a few times at first, I actually got used to it, but you don't really have to alot of times. Need a decent set of tools though.
Keep it, I think that there is something to the airflow/cooling issues that the other guys pointed out.

Hm, since it's not the panel that's the problem, but the fraggin plastic fasteners, why replace the panel? Replace your clips with something more user friendly! A trip to the hardware store ought to find you what you need....
