If I take off my OEM wing (and i really want to). Do i end up with 2 big holes on each side of the trunk? Is there a way to disguise these or fill in the holes?

if you take off your wing, you can just get some bolts and some rubber washers just to fill in the holes, especially like me who changes there minds a lot.......since my car is silver, silver bolts dont looks so bad. (flush flat base screws technically)

 

there're more than just 2 big holes. get colored tape if it really bothers you.. i just put electrical tape on mine. i think someone got plugs from advanced auto or something and painted them to match his car.

 

1) Weld up the holes
2) Sand and prime
3) Repaint

 

Don't put electrical tape on your Evo.

 

4 holes on the passenger side (one is already sealed with black tape)

3 holes on the driver side. I used black rubber body plugs to seal holes. you can pick them up at the auto parts store.

 

You can always order a wing free trunk from mit$u for some outrageous amount.

You might also want the RS truck bar-springs. Otherwise your trunk will fly open with deadly force after you take the wing off!
