Didnt Take Long

Just got my 06 Evo9 GG yesterday and it took exactly 36 hours almost to get pulled over. doing 88 on the highway.

I have a radar detector but the ride was so smooth i didn't even feel it and wan't on the look out for cops.

The cop drove right along the side of me. for a sec( when i noticed him. and im like ****)

i drop my speed down and thats when he puts his lights on.

205 speeding ticket.

Gonna call the lawyer tommorow and call it a day tho.

my god, what the heck.. I've had my evo 9 for about two weeks now, and i'm able to control myself. I only let loose on back roads where no other cars around.. if you speed you deserve a ticket. how hard is it to do the speed limit on the highway?

1. It was completly safe driving 88mph on the highway (it was 1am) almost no cars)
2. Fastest Evar? well what scared me the most was that i was going XXX amount of mph 2 minutes before the cop pulled me over.
3. Breaks in the car before they put it in the car.

He was a cop from the past, he was trying to keep you from going back to the future.

your gonna have a hard time with this ticket, however you have some hope. I'm just guessing here but if he pulled next to you then he used the pacing method. pretty much, your lawyer is going to request to see if his speed ometer has been calibrated. at that point it probably will be so then its the good ole boy system with the lawyer

Funny that you should mention this. My wife out of the clear blue said to me "its real easy to do a 100 in the Evo huh?" I was like WTF?? So, I said "yeah, you have to be careful. Why, were you doing a 100?" She went like "yeah, after getting the car serviced and the wheels aligned it just rides so smooth. On the way home, I thought that I was doing 65 and I looked down at the speedo and I was doing a little more than a 100." I was like , "so now you know."
