Totally true. If I was to make a thread that reads...I have ***** and I just bought a EVO 9, there would be like 50 pages about it.

lower intercooler pipe

and i have always seen warr as helpful, who cares if people are overly sensitive, i think they should just ban the people that cry too much instead of complaining to people that are actually helping.

If you guys thought that was a slam then you ALL need to go to the track to really know what it takes to put a car into 11's, 10's or 9's. Wartalon is right, I do have 20 years of drag racing cars down into the high 9's. It is pretty easy to get a evo into the high elevens but gets much harder to go 11.5 and faster. Part of this is trying to drag race a big turbo car on the factory ecu/maf, not having a 2 step makes launching and shifting a big turbo car very hard. Until I go 11.50 all I have is a nice mph.I got my clutch adjusted and am going thisweeked but until then it's just talk but I will try.

People like Zectasy, FastestEvar, and Evil_Evo_8 make it very difficult, because they aren't held to any standard. They are allowed to post FAQs over and over and over and say the dumbest things without any recourse whatsoever, much to the chagrin of those of us who actually contribute...

Hi warrtalon. i have been visiting this board for about half a year now. mostly, you have great advice. many times you are quite rude. most of the time, i love your rudeness because the fools you are responding to surely deserve it. sometimes though, you are a bit harsh and there really was not a need to be. i saw the post where you were advised about unnecessary rudeness. i thought it was a well worded and much deserved post.

in summary, most of the time, your harshness is well placed and quite enjoyable, but a few small times, it is just plain annoying to see. i hope my uncensored and blatantly honest feedback does not make you upset. i am just trying to help you.

The answer to the first part is YES, you can have an 11sec daily evo. As to the mods required, Warrtalon is on the money. But I must stress that the driver is the key to a sub 12 car. Any error and you're in the 13s (or more) even with a 10 sec car.

Just a hint .. I think the biggest evo driver error is LAUNCH rpm ... and the biggest any any driver error is missing that 2nd, especially if you're a nose or so behind and the pressure is high.

I should add that I have no experience with Winter, and I dont think a flash is required with a proper tune. (Yes, rpm will be higher but I still don't think it's a must. (pls correct me if I'm wrong)).

On another note, Warrtalon has helped lots with his info, even me on matters of boost and more but he is very harsh and hard. May i suggest 22 rounds with mike tyson and the undertaker to soften him up, and, emory board no 3 to smoothen him up?
