Poor MR
ok, so you saying that Mitsu Dealership can also be dumb enough to tow or transfer their evo by this ???
didnt your mileage gets up even its only 2 wheels are rolling for AWD? if so, then I dont think new Evos get towed like this.
please correct me or give me some input, thanks.

called the tow guy to yank someones SUV that was blocking my driveway once. regular tow truck shows up and the guy has to hook a chain under it and pull it out sideways so he could hook it up. i mention to the guy that i think it's a 4WD SUV (seems like most around me aren't) and his response was "do you want it out of here or not?"
The glue sniffing tow truck drivers don't care. He has a **** mag and some budweiser waiting for him at the garage. It is probably a dealer transfer or something. The dealer will wash and wax it and send it on it's merry way, then void the warrenty when it comes in for repair. That is a crime.

HOLY **** this brings back something shocking!!!! SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME BUT I Was not there when this happened because my brother decided to go speeding in my car. I had to pick it up in the impound and asked how it was towed. ON 2 REAR WHEELS what the O(@#*$%!!!!!!!! but I've been driving for about 15k miles with no troubles. Just noise from the tranny that everyone says is normal.....
I HAVE my tranny out now and my car up on jacks from a clutch exchange. Should I look at my viscous coupling? should I take my tranny to a shop and have them inspect it along with the transaxle and rear diff? how much would this cost if I just hauled my stuff over there in a truck bed and have them take stuff apart and inspect? someone please PM me for answers or any feedback thanks.

A lot of tow truck drivers dont know an evo is AWD. Had to get my car towed because my clutch went out. they came with a NON flat bed truck. When I told him i needed a flat bed he proceeded to argue with me that the car is not AWD. So I pulled 100 bucks out and told him to lift the front end. If he right, Ill give him the 100 PLUS the tow money. If I was wrong I get a FREE tow on a flat bed. So of course Mr. Knowit All lifted the front wheels and was SUPRIZED! I wasnt. I said alright now I gotta go 30mins down 495 to Forestville MD. He called for another truck and I used my 100 bucks for the clutch install
