State Laws?

Ive looked everywhere I can find anything, so maby you guys and gals can help. Where can I find whats legal and what isnt in my state? Like how dark my windows can be, how low my car can be, ect... I live in maryland.

Some tinting shops will offer you a "re-tint" warranty. If you get popped for tint here in California it is a "fix-it" ticket. You take the tint off, get the car inspected and there is no fine. Some shops will re-tint for free if you have to take the tint off to clear a ticket.

Maryland?, your screwed! I wastationed there for two years, I hate that state politically, one of the most liberal anti-anything thats good states.

Your DMV/DPS should have a web site with all of your state laws. It can be daunting at first, but don't be afraid to call/email them with this question.

Yea i check the dmv website, but i couldnt find anythihng. stpracer found it for me (thanks again)

Not anymore. I just had my car tinted today and they had a new sign up at the shop saying that there is now a mandatory fine ranging between $75 and $300 depending on what city in California you're in.

Whats worse.... it turns out that any tint on any window in California is illegal regardless of darkness.
