Quaife LSD

I recently read an article about Quaifes differential . It gives a lifetime warranty even if you race with it. Now thats sounds absolutly great, though it is a gear type diff. instead of a clutch type ( but gear type is better for street use), but what i was wondering is if the stock differential gets replaced how will this affect the ACD options ?

I have heard that they are really good diff.s but i was wondering if the new diff. would effect the setting selection on the ACD ? Would it make it obsolete or what ?

I believe functionally, the quaife LSD is the same as the stock front LSDs that come in the 05s. I remember MikeW@RRE mentioning that they are interchangeable.

I love my quaife. It was one of the best mods I've ever done to my car. The most noticeable difference is when I get on the gas exiting corners. Instead of plowing like crazy, they actually track and grip. I can actually kick my tail out! Worth every dollar IMO.

Contact RRE. I had it for about a month. It was $1495 shipped. Install was a PIA but well worth it! fyi: I had an 03.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the 05 VIII comes with a open diff up front and the IX comes with a torsen ( Quaife like ) . I know that a torsen diff is more progressive and smooth during the locking and unlocking , this should work well with the ACD I guess .

You sold your 03 with the LSD! Man I would have traded and slapped down some cash in your hand.

I DONT WANT ACD!!!! But I do want the front LSD. I think TRE will install the Ralliart one for $1500 parts and labor included.
