Nah...he meant that if the EP Mobil 1 10W30 (gold cap stuff) is of PAO base, does that mean that the normal Mobil 1 synthetic is a blend of group III ?

I'm curious about this, as well.

thanks for clearing that up. yes, that's exactly what i was asking. he said extended performance M1 is a PAO base, so what base is our factory fill "normal" M1?
