I want to get one but have read too many posts of intakes upsetting the idle and the car losing power and all.

Do evos respond differently to buschur intakes as opposed to and HKS one? Like does one need a tune and the other does not?

 

Just do a mail in flash at the time you do the intake and no worries....I will be doing the buschur intake and flash after x-mas.

 

I've actually heard the car will run fine w/o a tune with the BR intake kit..but I'm not really sure. I do know they redesigned their intake pipe so it doesn't disrupt the map/mas sensor like others do.


I put my filter on when I got custom tuned.. 0 problems!

 

I already have a tune by Works, they recommend though not changing the intake. I want to change it but dont want them to know cause I may be reprimanded when I get updates. I feel like a mischevious kid with his toy!

No problems here, but like I said my car is going to buschur soon anyway for cams, tbe, pump, flash, possible Alky, and a intercooler.
