My deposit for an Evo is at MSRP. I am pretty sure I will no longer be able to finance it however because of tight money supply. (Its tough being a student with no job). If you want to pick up a new black one in Syracuse I'm sure we could arrange something (like you buying my deposit from me). It has not come in yet, but I am #5 on the list.

It says msrp $28,987... then plus the sunroof about 30,000 then it all added up to $38,000. I was like wtf ?? My dealer told me in person that it was because of the shipping from japan? Did they actually include that when yall bought your evo?

hahha, what a lie, there's no shipping cost, the manufacturer's sticker is what you should be paying. Shipping has been factored in already, it's called "Destination Charge".

ovaboosting are you in san jose? well i was working last night and i saw a guy that bought an evo from capitol and if i remember, they were asking 45k. some people just have money and don't know what to do with it (even in these bad economic times). oh well...i hope the price drops dramatically when the sti comes out so he feels real dumb.

40 grand for a 4-cylinder is the wrong way to look at it. Don't get me wrong, the dealership is trying to jack you, but you should look at it more like 276 hp and not JUST a 4-cyl.

Thumbs down $40K??? forget it

I just got my new silver EVO today
$29962 sticker price!! Great car for the money. I traded in my yellow WRX (sad to say good bye to a greatr little car), but I'm thrilled with the EVO. It's really phenomenal.
I di read a bit about it in the manual and all, service intervals are 5000 miles and they require fully synthetic oil, no blends, no dyno juice at the penalty of losing the warranty!!

EVOL,
Thanks!! but.. i guess i'll just wait...

fishsauce,
no... im in NYC!!! not in california... i wished i were there...... hehehehehe yeah.. i guess all mitsu dealers are jacking up the price since its an "EVO" ..... i hate dealers!!

SilverEVO8,
how does the wrx compare to the evo??? which one handles better?? power???? cuz I think i'll wait until the STI comes and see who will be the alpha male!! ehhehe

I think the two evos in my dealership will be sitting there for awhile if they dont lower the price.. well.. its good.. at least everytime i get on I278 i'll see two evos ehhehehehehheheheh
