For what, different shocks, a six speed, and an aluminum roof? Sounds like a marketing gimmick to me.

 

Sounds like the STI is this years, best bang for the buck.

 

btw, my dealer still doesn't have the price just talked to my GM. I still like the handling of the evo better, and it's not a subaru so that's a positive. I won't be disappointed in the car at this price.
Just my opinion though, YMMV,

Stupid comment, because if your just talking bang for the buck than what about the regular EVO GSR and um, wait a minute how about the RS that I just saw for sale for $26,000 brand spanking new at Puente Hills Mitsubishi, the STI was never the best bang for the buck, it's not always how much power you have, but how you use it, the EVO thus far has proven to be more efficient at this.

 

wouldn't go that far, and don't want to get in a pissing contest; but the Roo isn't my cup of tea...

 

dont forget about the acd, new wheels, along with all the goodies included in the MR package..

 

Who cares, if you have the money get the MR. If ya don't or it's simply too high, get another car. Easy.

What's msrp on the '05 GSR? If I sold my '03 Evo for an '05 it would be for the front lsd and the acd..no way would I pay a large premium for the MR for just the 6-speed, shocks, and wheels. I still love the MR though..price is just a few k too high.
No way is the Sti this years best bang for the buck..the best bang for buck would go to the '05 Evo RS.

 

dont forget to add dealer markup. most dealers will only have a few of them so they might not sell for msrp
