Stock tires suck in snow cuz theyre specifically summer tires and the thing is that a lot of people think they can drive the evo the exact same way when its snowing when in reality they have to asjust theyre driving habits AWD doesnt mean always stuck to the road. ANYWAY STOCK TIRES SUCK

As a matter of fact I held off on taking my EVO out today until things started to melt and all... I went to church early this morning with my girl and we decided to take the train/bus and leave the evo in the garage. Later on during the day we hitch a ride with some friends and then I eventually took the EVO out tonight to take her home to NJ.

bluevo8, have you put on winter tires? you know how the roads are here in queens, the snow covers the potholes and junk that fill with ice =\

nope, not yet.....

i waited for the snow and all to melt from the morning hours.

I figured that I'll just drive slow and take it easy in residential neighborhoods that dont get plowed/cleared as frequently.

The highways were fine as well since the pavement was dry.

I also exercixed a lot of care and caution when driving thru the on and off ramps though, I know those can be slippery.

i need to invest in some snow tires but I'm too cheap.
