Where are all the Evo's in MA?
Where are all the Evo's in MA?
Hello, guyz.
As of today, I began shopping for the evo IX GSR (w/o SSL) in GG around Boston Area. However, I am not too optimistic about it. I called about 13 different dealerships in MA and none of them had GG GSR w/o SSL. In fact, only GG one w/o SSL that I was able to locate here in MA was the one with 2500 miles of being a 'demo' car, which I obviously don't want to deal with. Out of those 13 dealerships that I've called, most of them not only didn't have any Evo on their lots, but also ones they did have were mostly MR or GSR w/ SSL package. Some dealerships even claimed that GG is the color that only comes with MR models.
I also made a visit to one of local dealerships (Grava Mitsubishi). They didn't have any Evo's in their stock, but the sales guy told me that he could get me one in about a month with $1000 discount off MSRP. I guess that it is still the seller's market with these new Evo IX's. Now, I am thinking that maybe I should wait another 3-4 months in order to get the one (GG GSR w/o SSL) that I want at better price as the market turns more favorable toward buyers. But, I want one now..... real badly
What do you guyz think?
Thanks

It maybe a bit of a drive but it was well worth it for me. I live in Chicopee MA but bought my Evo in Vernon CT at Surburban Mitsu. They are a no pressure type of place and will definitly work with you on the price. DO NOT deal with Houser Mitsu in Springfield MA, lets just say that customer service is NOT one of their priorities.
wait longer,
or talk to this guy and get your evo now

Guyz, thanks for all the inputs. I will definitely call Suburban and 'Evojoe' to see what kind of deal that they got. Heck, I will even drive to NY/NJ if I can get an awsome deal.

Evo's are limited production and many dealers even mark them up! I think $1000-$1500 below invoice is as good as it gets.

Yes, I am aware of limited production numbers and dealer mark-ups, so that it is fairly difficult to get a good deal with these cars. The invoice for IX GSR w/o SSL is $29,593. My target price is $30,000 just for the car (not including tax and fees).
For '$1000-$1500 below invoice' price, heck I will even drive to Ohio.
Anyways, does $30,000 seem too low?
Thanks

Your going to have one hell of a time getting one for $30k. FYI its MSRP that your talking about, not invoice.

Yes, tthat is correct. GG is MR only, MR comes in 4 colors, GG white, silver, and Red.

I just purchased (3 months ago) a new 05 VIII EVO at Lovering ($2000 off sticker). They seem to be OK. The car I purchased was the only one in stock.
