Simply put we dont accept packages returned if the main reason is a misconception on the manufactured material..

This comment by Jarrod says it all:

"i dont know why it is called poly-fiber because it is nothing like polyurethane."

You keep pointing this out as if its the only reason. Jarrod also mentions major blemishes and poor fitment.

I was SOOOO ready to order that evo IX jdm rear from you guys but am glad i waited. If I'm spending so much money on an unpainted product, why should it need sanding and filling and all sorts of foolish prepwork before painting. I can understand a slipup of sending out a product with a tiny crack at the bottom of the bumper but when you have so many imperfections, its unaccepatable.
And honestly, if Jarrod haddent told us that these bumpers were fiberglass, lots of us would not have known. And vague answers and descriptions result in poor assumptions so dont blame that on him!!!

if you take positive trader feedback dave@accolade out ranks david@buschur literally x3. Im not one to make comparisons but im simply pointing that out because alot of evo owners are more familiar with the latter.
Have you lost faith with the community? I don't know, but the community has lost faith in you. In fact, according to this thread, there was no faith to begin with:

Accolade Discussion [ALL THREADS MERGED]

Wow, 42 pages, most of which are people complaining, yet somehow the account you mention (dave@accolade) has 100% positive feedback. Hmm, I wonder how that's possible when there are hundreds of unsatisfied customers on this site alone. Maybe the bad feedback all went to some other account? Regardless, how dare you even mention your company in the same breath as Dave Buschur. That is a downright shameful thing to do. Dave has low feedback on his PERSONAL login account...so what? He doesn't do all of his business straight through his personal login. People all over the country buy his parts every day, then go out and set records. They don't get their expensive products only to find out that it looks like crap, doesn't fit, requires drilling holes, and cannot be returned for a refund under any circumstance. That is downright ludicrous business policy, and your entire company should be ashamed. I can't imagine working at such a blood-sucking, unreliable, brothel of thieves.

Disgusting...

This bumper fits just as good as stock, and a number of members can back us up on that... I have showed you pics of it installed and you have heard from someone who has purchased it and installed it... this is not something that is mockingly on a bar stool in retrospect it has been installed not by any professional but by people just like you. A blemish is nothing more then a blemish, when you paint a bumper you prep it, this always involves sanding the piece, those little blemishes are nothing more then gel coat marks one pass and its smooth. Pictures can be deceiving and it does look very unflattering however i am a bit surprised because after overlooking one of our evo IX fronts in stock it was absent of such minor marks.

You're completely ignoring all the cases of people having terrible fitment while continually pointing out a few lucky cases where the part did work. Or maybe the individual had a higher tolerance for shoddy manufacturing and did whatever it took to make it fit, then was happy after it worked. Regardless, the absolute venom that has been spewed by so many people on this site in regards to Accolade cannot continue to be ignored...

Audacious? maybe. One thing I know is that performance vendors deserve alot of respect its very aspiring to model too. But we do not deal in performance and I challenge anyone to find an aero parts supplier who hasnt had its fair share of problems. Our entry into the scene wasnt the best however we are growing & improving.

Four years later we can be found in magazine advertisements and countless forums.. Interestingly enough forums that do not bare any harsh resentment to our presence.

This is all so confusing now :-( I read so many message boards and I was so sure that the newest hottness could always be had from group buys and e-bay. You guys mean to tell me it isnt so? I am shocked! Shocked I tell you. Where is a guy to buy parts then?

Then you must only sell awful parts to the Lancer and Evo communities, eh? You are in magazine ads and countless forums, because you pay a lot of money to be there. People assume you are a reputable business, and they spend their money only to end up with a random chance of either getting a nice piece...or a total piece of junk that cannot be returned. Awful, terrible, despicable business operation. That return policy is shameful and embarrassing...

I can understand being pissed off about ordering and expecting one thing and getting something else... I've been lucky so far buying things by mail. I had a couple of rip-offs but I chalk that up to experience and I'm super careful about buying through EBAY and using Paypal, they are worthless for buyer protection...
Anyway, regardless of how this sorry mess works out, there is something that needs to be said. Although some credit cards will give you a hard time whe you try to charge back, the good ones will back you up. If I'd bought that bumper with my AMEX and sent them a copy of my complaint and that email from the vendor, they would have definitely taken care of me

I beg to differ and hope we can change such opinions.. Our return policy is a standard model based on the SEMA guidelines for our industry. All Aero Part companies have similiar policies and ours is really no different.
