Remember the car doesn't make the attitude, a cool person in a sti would be the same cool person in a Kia. Some people are just miserable at life.

 

lol i had an evo, and the other evo owners were like that to me, its just who u run into. Some people don't greet people driving, just think about it, they might think ur a retard for waving cuase they be like who are you? not everyone knows your saying hi because you drive teh same type of car. its like that for everycar. Just stop trying to be cool and don't wave lol simple as that.

Nah never here, all the sti owners Ive seen so far were the first one to wave at me. Its the srt4 losers do the most hating.....Some of you people don't understand why we wave or say wasup anytime an sti drives by. Its about respect, most sti owners know wasup and we do likewise.,....

 

I have experienced something similar....I was pulling up to a laundromat parking lot when I saw this 06 Sti in the parking lot. I decided to be respectful and said "nice car" to the guy but he turns and saids "I could beat you". It seems they are so threatened by Evo drivers they have to get defensive every time they see us.

 

I've usually had good experiences with STi owners, it's the regular WRX owners that give me grief.

 

I wave, they wave. I've actually been ignored by more Evos than STis

Funny some of your responses about having to prove something to them before they give the thumbs up.... because now that I think about it, this silver STi pulled up next to me a while back, I flashed the peace sign he gased it. I tossed it into third and blew past him (i really hope he had a horrible tune or something cuase he had the jump on me). When we slowed down he pulled up and gave the thumbs up, as did I (again)....

i just ignore them. but regular wrx owners seem to be a lot friendlier.

 

i always get waves from sti owners when i am in my evo, and i get waves from evo owners when in my sti. it really depends on the person.

 

Here in Stockton Ca. theres lots of people that dont wave back. Most of the times I get reved at Ohh well, its gotta be the C-west bumper and the massive Nisei IC that atracks them to do foolish things!

I hope this is a joke. Yous should really stop stereotyping. There are evo owners who do not wave to fellow evo owners much less owners of STI's. Most owners on here seem to have a passion for cars and respect other car owners. I have had numerous pleasant experiences with STI's, in fact my only negative experience was when I considered buying one and the salesman was an a$$. The car doesn't dictate the actions but the person behind the wheel does.

 

no this is not a joke... if you would please read once more, you'll notice this has been MY EXPERIENCES. Ive noticed most STi drivers are haters. You may have different experiences, thats what makes the world go 'round. Cool concept isnt it?

 

i've had great experiences with sti owners, srt4 owners, evo owners, but i get mad hate from wrx owners. lots of it. especially one kid in the neighboring town of mine. he talks a lot, and even keyed my friends evo cuz they were in a fight.
