Saw a black '06 STi today, tried waving/peace sign instead he made some face at me. jackass! Do you guys get disrespect from them too?

 

i usually get disrespect until we go at it for a little bit...they seem to think our cars are slow, and when they figure out they are not, they give thumbs up.

 

i usually dont get a look from them. I mean hey, we have the same type of car, wheres the love?

One was merging into my lane when my friend and i were moving back to school. He didn't see my car at all (CRV). I had to honk to get him to get back into his lane (i was in the last lane next to the divider and he was halfway into my side). Funny part....he backs out....then floors it around the car in front of him and still ends up next to me.

I know this doesnt apply to all but some Suby owners can't drive. That and they never return a wave...but i guess that's ok since i dont wanna break their concentration. =P

 

Lots of people would do that, not necessarily only STI owners. Some people just think it's weird when someone they don't know waves

hmmm STi owners over here seem to get along with Evo owners....i have found that STi owners can somtimes be more friendly than some Evo owners around here. I respect them...they respect me goes for even SRT-4 owners as well as some mustang ppl down here etc. I will tell u who hates tho atleast at me...the WRX ppl and reg lancer ppl. Those guys just hate Evos...well atleast mine. They all seem like they got something to prove reving up to u etc...it can be funny at times...but mostly its just sad

 

I waved to a couple of STI owners and some of them were really nice, and some weren't. Maybe they just think I'm a punk *** 16 yr old with an evo? Who knows.....

 

I tend to get that reaction also. But their are some cool STi owners like my brother and a couple of his friends but that's about it. Most of the time I have to prove my car worthy or something in order to get a reaction.

 

Sometimes your in a rush or had a bad day. I'm guilty of it, sometimes I just don't want to shoot the **** so I'll ignore someone. Don't take it personal.

I thought you were gonna say, STi owners standing under their hoodscoop give me waves. that thing is HUGE.

I guess if you are talking about 06's now we have to use STI <--capital I

 

you should not have to prove anything to anyone...they know what an Evo is and they know what it is capable of and should not be underestimated...just as we know about how dangerous an STi can be. When i see ppl regardless of what car it is showing off or trying to get some attention etc .. i just ignore it..and trust me ignoreing them really really makes them mad
