Wearing blue jeans is something common, there is a much higher percentile of the population that wears blue jeans than those who drive Evo's and STI's. So that doesn't exactly work out, understand?
I've waved to 45-60 year old guys in their Vipers, Corvette's, and Cobra's and often they wave back. Its called being friendly. Are you getting this yet Cabo? You really didn't prove ANY point, because sure maybe people appreciate it when other people mind their own business, but WAVING is a friendly gesture and those who choose to make faces at me instead of waving back, I would consider them to be rude.
Do you need me to spell it out for you even more?

I did however run into the wife of a guy who owned an STi at a gas station and when I asked her if that was her STi she was like yeah thats my husbands and she was telling me she drove a 2.5 RS. I was like thats cool, I just got an Evo not to long ago, she then asked me what an Evo was. She was really nice, but I guess they were just really loyal scooby owners.

Yeah it's just like the Ford vs Chevy thing. It'll never end. When I got my STI, most of the people asking for races were from fellow Suby owners which kind of confused me, I was out to race other makes and models. In the end everyone has their own opinions and even in this forum, we have people that will flap their gums about others cars......
Fact is(this is even true within the Subaru community) that they don't have half as many good drivers as the Evo community does. They KNOW their cars aren't as fast as the evo once you mod, come on this is EXTREMELY obvious by now..I get respect from most Subaru owners as they usually admire the Evo or just share interest in great cars...but those that act like asses are just haters period. that's all there is to it. Same with Supra heads hating on Skylines....WHY?? because haters...thats it. Some of the Supra community is cool and respect Skylines and even Evos, but there are a LOT LOT LOT of them who bash on the RB26 and call the evo a POS.

I owned an 04 evo VIII heavily modded and a bone stock 05 evo RS now an 05 Sti. I loved my Evo's and I also love my Sti. I feel my Sti is faster then my stock 05 Evo RS. I also got my *** handed to me 3 times in a row by a 04 Sti, part of the reason is because Sti's are much easier to launch. Evo's from my experience have a little better top end and the Sti has much better low and mid range power. Both cars are amazing and stock for stock its really a drivers race and I respect both cars very much.

DUDE evyerone bashes on **** they dont like, thats how life is. THESE are rival cars they go both ways. Dont be an idiot and say the STI's bashes the evo's all the time. I HEAR crap from EVO's all the time bashing on the STI's too. it goes both ways PERIOD.
But to the thread starter and the people who are getting butthurt cause they didnt get waves, Grow the hell up. If your going to wave at someone TAKE IT THAT SOMETIMES U MIGHT NOT GET WAVED AT. Not everyone waves at people thats just how it is, and look at it this way, it might of been teh first encounter for that person. So next time he gets a wave he will probably return it.
When i was first waved at, i didnt even know that guy was waving at me. I was just liek wtf?? then i was like ohhh maybe he is jsut greeting me cause i got the same type of car. So they will probably catch on after. I honestly thought it was wierd when i first started getting waves but after it felt normal.
