plead not guilty and fight it. don't use up a traffic school on a bs charge(here we only get it once every 3 years).
dress nice, do your research, practice your case the night before and use charts/diagrams/pics. statements by the gym people probably won't mean much and show the judge you are trying to make an example of the cop. stick to the facts of the ticket and only to witnesses that observed the "crime", not the gym guys afterwards. the cop's demeanor is not on trial, you are. take that up with his captain afterwards if you see the need... impress the judge and you stand a better chance of gettin off. if you walk in with no info/presentation, you will probably pay.
get a list of questions to ask the cop while he is on the stand, such as where he saw you, how he determined speed, etc... you will be allowed to question him and be prepared....

and did I mention to be prepared....

I'm not reading 8 pages, but FYI, reving your engines can get you an Exhibition of Speed ticket, as well as screeching your tires at all, for any reason, including if you're in a ****ty car that just happens to screech tires... Same with turning right or left and going into a lane you're not supposed to (which also can get you a wreckless driving ticket).

Ticket Busters

Take the ticket to a local ticket busters. There's nothing you can do about his attitude, he's obviously running low on his quote and needed to issues some tickets in a hurry.

PS my best friends is a county officer. Good luck

I had to stop so we lost the pack ended up cruising with my friend for 3 exits or so topped out, cought the other cars started to cruise around 60 to 100 off and on which isnt anything in the car like a motorcycle speed up slow down ya know anyways passed a cop or he jumped on the highway a exit behind us at some point he said caught us goin 110 had multiple phone calls in on us weaving in and out of traffic which is bs more like fast lane and middle lane to pass cars and gave us illegal street racing, 110 in a 65, unispected vehicle, unisured vehicle which should be mostly bs except the insurance company screwed up what kind of car it was said it was a lancer es or something so the id card was the wrong car but had the right vin and a loud exhaust ticket for my jic turbo back gutted cat ended up with like a threat of jail time 6 tickets which 2 are misdameaners. It happened in sept and the court dates been posponed 4 times still thinking im screwed on my license for a while and ever having cheap insurance

Notn really yet, i just went to court pleaded not guilty, then set my trail date for March 6th.

But when i was there the judge was saying, "If you plead guilty today, i will find the harshest punishment for you, so i highly suggest pleading not guilty."

Always plead not guilty, whether you are guilty or not. Get a lawyer, and fight it.

The cop must have left some interesting notes on the ticket. You are entitled to these notes and can request the court for them (disclosure).

I wish you the best of luck but you may have an uphill battle on your hands.
It is a real shame that our culture so vilifies driving quickly. One would honestly think that it is worse than driving drunk.

If you get to question the cop at the trial, I would love to here his answers to questions like:
Since he claimed you were street racing - Does he know how the law defines "street racing"
Ask him to give a description of the car or cars you were street racing against.
Since he claims you were performing an exhibition of speeds - does he know how the law defines performing an exhibition of speeds
Ask him to ball park how many exhibition of speeds tickets he has done over the last month
Ask him to estimate, on average, how many mph over the limit those offenders were - I bet its more than 5 mph, if not then ask him if he writes an exhibition of speeds ticket for every speeder pulls over for 5 or more mph over the limit

Kudos to housedj for helping you
Let us know how things end up.

similar thing happened to me.....i made a left at a light, saw the cop in the distance did the exact speed limit when i passed him. Then when i went to pass some1 right after I went up to 34 in a 30 by "gunning it" i was like WTF. He said i was out of control and he had me on laser and photo radar....(hm....funny i didn't see my Bel 965 go off, he must be using the super dooper new kind). Anyway i got out of it.
