Now I am stuck with a car that is due for a clutch job every 10000miles. This just brightens my day.

Not to mention I have a car that blows on the stock boost. This is just great.

Thats like my 2jz blowing cause it was boosting at its stock boost then I put a bc on there to lower the boost and it still blows. BWAHAHAHAAH this is just too funny. I am still suprised mitsu is still in business. I guess I cant go over 3000rpms cause my engine will blow.

CAN SOMEONE ON HERE RECONFIRM TO ME THAT THESE CARS ARE GOOD? PLEASE I AM DYING HERE.

No cause my engine stil hasnt been broken in yet. My odometer reads 350miles. However, the evos from what I am hearing all over this forum are having drivetrain porblems due to various reasons. I guess you want to argue with me on that too? However, maybe I am being too hard on the car? I mean seriously, am I?

YES I RESEARCHED IT. I reserched it for over 10yrs but I never knew that mitsu would renig on their warranties like this. Also I have always known mitsu has had drivetrain problems. But not engine problems especially with the 4g63 and on stock boost! That just frightens me dude.

What actually happened is the piston melted and warped the cylinder, and also some values in the head were damaged also.
They will not cover the short block and head that needs to be replaced, because they claim the car was overboosting.

Stock wastegate
Stock turbo
Stock intake
Stock exhaust.
SAFC II
Profec B set to 19psi high / 15psi low
reason for the profec B, low boost to save gas for daily driving.

The head of service actually said they would do the work a week ago, but the district manager happened to be in town and took a look, and denied the repairs under warranty.

My car is at the dealership with the engine torn down, and I have no clue what to do now.

Where do I go from here?
Been there done that, all stock too... sucks, but so does mitsu
