Need advice on Evo IX MR finance

I just got this car from the dealer with trade in on my ol' Evo 8. I'm searching for a co-signer because my original co-signer backed out. Any advice what I must do to be able to still keep this car without the intrest bursting out the roof? I'm still searching for another co-signer atm. I can't mod it out till I know its mine and locked in.

Is it just me, or are there like 5 of these "Evo Buying" threads a minute?

There needs to be a separate Forum for all of these.

You're correct. Maybe you didn't get the memo. Owning an Evo qualifies us to give financial advice to other prospective Evo owners.

I've always though if you couldn't get the loan on your own, then you probably shouldn't get it.
If you have a co-signer, there is a possibility of you messin' their whole life. If they own a house or other assets, they can lose them all.

if you could sweat out the interest rate increase for a year you could get refied on your own with a credit unions, who have lower rates for first time buyers

I already own an evo 8 smart one, I am trading it in if you payed attention. I can afford the trade in but I'd like a lower intrest rate. And you usually have to go through a credit union unless you just tote around 40k+ in your bag. Wanted friendly advice not cute little remarks from haters =P And no one co-signed on the jag and is also payed off. =)
Anyways thanks for those who did give some decent insight.

Keep the 8 and use the money you save to fix your credit score so that in the future, you don't have to bum off other people to get a decent interest rate.

Hi. Like I said once before. Credit Union. Joining them costs like $50 and you'll be able to get a $35k loan without any money down.

Exactly. It just doesn't make any sense to buy an "expensive" car you can't afford on your own.
