So, someone threw coffee/cola on my car...

...while I was at work. (yeah, I know, real mature) should I wipe it off now? It's freezing outside and it's prob been on my car for 6 hours outside. Should I be concerned about the acidic properties of the liquid on the paint?

I know it sounds stupid, but these things get to me. I was once the victim of criminal vandalism on the Evo...someone threw a brick at my roof and dented it.

If it was me I'd wipe it off to be on the safe side, freezing or not. At least you weren't a victim of someone throwing their cigarette butt on your car...happened to me and burnt a nice little mark onto my trunk. I since then had it fixed.

I wouldn't wipe it off. Try to find somewere to wash it off. You said it is freezing so I don't know if car washes are open but, that would be my first choice for removal.

Damn haters...someone recently threw a huge rock at my car's left rear quarter panel....$400 estimate to repair the dent. Definitely wash it off with some warm water immediately. Mitsu's paint quality is garbage....I'm sure we all know that

If you wash off the coke or coffee it should be ok, if it is cold out. If it is in the summer and the stuff cooks in the sun then most likely you would have paint damage.
