Evo the next Supra???

With Mitsu going out of business and all... how many more generations of the Evo do you think they'll push out?? or do you think they'll turn it around and sell some cars?? If Mitsu does go out of business you think that the EVO will be the next supra or rx-7 meaning will they be more expensive and hard to come by??

Mitsubishi is recovering slowly but surely. They have an ENORMOUS corporate backing and are selling very well in some areas (Middle East, for example). GM and Ford are losing more money than they are per year (but then again, they do lots more sales), if I recall correctly. The new Eclipse has helped lots and the Eclipse Spyder will help more.

If Mitsubishi goes under, of course these cars will be valuable and rare. They are vaulable enough with them in business. The Eclipse GSX still fetches a pretty penny. What was the point of this?

The companies are all under the Mitsubishi name but they act as seperate entities.

It's just MMUSA that was having trouble. I remember a year or so ago there was a special on CNN on them. Basically it said they were struggling from the 0/0 financing, and were rumored to be looking for bidders in the U.S. Looks like they turned it around since then.

everyone's waiting for an AWD turbo eclipse to reemerge, that would get mitsu back in the game, not everyone can afford an evo but a turbo'd eclipse with a less-expensive, more basic AWD drivetrain could accomodate alot more buyers.
