only reason i can think of is payments, i'd imagine with 50 on the clock its close to being paid off. if not, or if its not an issue, i would go for the acura TL. those are sexy

I understand how you are defining being a car guy but you have to understand that a lot of people who bought an EVO did so for the overall performance that it offers without the mods. Those people are car enthusiasts and the people you speak of are car junkies, HP junkies, or even adrenaline junkies Most of all they are gear heads. A true gear head will work on any car and has pleasure in working on cars more than just being around cars. I am a gear head, period, but that doesnt mean I have to have a wrench in my back pocket if I am at a bar.
So, In conclusion I am defending silvrevo's soul, it is not lost, just different goals for him than you have.
