Problem with sunroof
My sunroof does this from time-to-time.
***DO THIS:
1) Make sure your sunroof is closed.
2) Open your car door, and stand on inside panel.
3) Push against the seal on the outside of the sunroof so that you are pressing it against the glass (pulling away from the roof, towards the glass).
4) Thoroughly push on the seal in the back part of the sunroof (closest to the back of the car)... That is where mine gets caught up.
5) Test your sunroof... See if it opens correctly. If so, I haven't had any issues with mine ever getting stock open. Should be fine.
6) If it happens again, or you still can't open your sunroof; repeat these procedures and try again.

Vaseline worked well... until it rained, then it didn't work anymore. I tried using Vaccuum goop (more resistant) so far 1 week with heavy rains on and off and it's still good! It really is just a small section of rubber on the middle of the sunroof that gets caught up. I don't think it's a crappy sunroof, rather a nice waterproof seal. Just that it gets caught up a bit

Mines will do that every now and then. I took a closer look and it seems as if my roof had been bent a little bit near the sunroof on the passenger side. I'm thinking it was all those doughnuts I was doing when I first got the car.

three diamonds
Sorry, I missed the other thread about the vaccuum goop. I got it from a mechanical supplies warehouse. The goop is used to avoid any corrosion on metals, and is waterproof as well as pressure resistant. it's called vaccugoop I am sure you can find it online.
I wonder how white lithium grease would work. We use it on all paintball gun internals at the shop because it dosn't rub off under friction easily and it dosn't dry out the rubber of the O rings on the inside.
