With race fuel and no mbc it would hit +30psi in every gear per my Autometer gauge if i started out at 3-4000rpms , btw with the hallman tightened all the way down it would hot peak as high

normal day to day 22 psi peaks falling to 20-21ish at red line

on Meth I also poked at 34 PSI by accident :P My tires were cold and TQ was so high my car kinda went sideway.
I think 28-30 PSI is about most you could get out of the stock turbo and Meth.
I am also one of those lucky Evo that never had a boost/fuel cut even on stock ECU.

This guy has no idea what he's talking about. The UNOS is erratic? No. Boost limit from a techtom flash when the BCS is not even in the loop? Um, no. Using the TXS MBC? Haha, terrible.

Look Forbidden color, I don't think your right. A shop near me incorrectly installed an EBC for my car and the damn thing hit 27psi before I let off the gas. I don't even know where the boost would have stopped if I wasn't paying attention. I turned around and went back to the shop and the guy fixed it.

You are not helping any of the members by pouncing on Warrtalon. You seem to be frustrated at him for past experience or you just don't like him. I agree with you that he can be a little too upfront and talk down to people without thinking about his output, but you just got to brush that off and not take offense. That's your personal call.

Let's just get along like adults and enjoy the forum without wasting space with negativity.

[QUOTE=forbidden color]you've been on this board for a long time and you've never missed a day since last year or earlier, man get a life. It's obvious that you have nothing else than your car and that's why you get so serious about talking casually to people on this board. talk about insecurity. [QUOTE]

Dude you need to chill! Im on the forum every week day too, its not out fault we have tight jobs that pay us to sit in front of a computer! relax.....

here is something that may help.

it turned out to be the mbc that was at flaw.

but i would check your wastegate first, make sure the flap is opening.

I was checking out a few more things yesterday, and the strange thing is, when I crank the MBC down as tight as it will go......I actually get less boost pressure.

"and Ran 367AWHP, 393AWTQ on Pruvens Dyno."

How much psi was that when you were on the dyno ?

I've hit and maintained 34psi repeatedly many times on pump + meth... of course, it'll eventually die down to 24psi @ redline. This was on a TurboXS HP MBC.

The most I could get was 25psi...........but if something is wrong then the turbo will be overcompensating and blowing lots of hot air!

I might as well put in my 2 cents... there is no magiv 25psi boost cut. Hell, I don't even think the stock ECU reads boost directlly. It just takes maf readings and temp readings and calculates it from there. For the record, I spiked to around 27psi (guage read 27.5, but I think it reads about 1psi high) with tbe, a sub freezing night and no boost controller when i hit the cut.

You're correct, it is a load based calculation based on maf input and rpm. There is no MAP sensor feed to the ecu so there is no way that psi has anything to do with fuel cut.
