So heres me.... I hate being a bully so when I see a Lancer, I usually tend to drive slower and wave at them (I wave the majority of the time). But I notice I drive extra slow so it doesn't seem that I am trying to "show them up" or show that I am faster..... I do this when I drive by most cars like low modded civics, non turbo eclipses, any car that doesn't really look like it's got anything.

Anyone else do this?

 

I tried waving it to them, but most of them are just regular people who doesn't care about cars at all.

I waved at some lady one day in a lancer, she looked at me funny, like I was crazy or trying to hit on her.

 

Ive never really payed attention to it, I still sometimes think that I am driving my lancer...and then I hit the gas and forget it, probably blowing past some of the poor lancers you would slow and wave at.

 

I have had a couple of kids in Lancer OZs rev at me! Then I downshift and tap the gas.

 

This can only get bad lol.

 

I have had 2 guys on 2 seperet days Flick me off and they both had the same car it was an SRT-8 i just down shifted and they stoped ****ing with me.

 

I waved at this guy in SRT-4 that was following for the longest time. He looked, didn't even nod, took off... really really slowly and loud. Like a dying cow.

 

I drive the same no matter what.

 

When I drive by other cars, I usually stay in my lane.


Sometimes, I ease over into their lane.

Haha same thing happened to me. I gave it half throttle in fifth and kept up with him.

 

if a lancer looks tastefuly moded I wave other wise I drive normal

 

That is funny you bring this up. My friends say I get way to excited when I see another evo. I always give a fellow Evo a wave. Now for lancers, I typically don't do anything special unless they look at me or act friendly then I will give them a head nod.

 

I'm exactly the same, but I rarely get the friendly nod from lancer owners since most lancer owners are regular people who don't know what an evo is.

 

I normally just give a wave to any car I personaly like. My favorite is when I have to explain to kids in civics thats it not worth me wasteing my gas just to show them how slow there car is.

 

I think it really depends on people. some guys are real nice and some people have that crazy "i own the world" attitude.
