I don't know how much your state charges for small claim filing..But here in Georgia, all it takes is 50 bucks and your time...Take a lot of pictures (damage, location, if possible the tow truck)...Go to court, present your case...Collect your money...Very simple.

Yep Lenny's Towing Inc. Just got two estimates, and both were about $1000.00. I didn't even notice it before but the aluminum support clips on the bottom of the intercooler are all severely bent. DAMMIT! I guess I can just bend them back. Sigh...

But I kept telling them I was just trying to buy some groceries and that I was testing the car out because I was getting it inspected the next morning. But for some reason they kept saying I had attempted to run from them, but I told them I had no reason to run. I have no outstanding tickets, no criminal record, and I even waited until the light turned green before accelerating. They told me I had reason to run because of expired tags. I just don't get it. I try to be a good person and this is what karma does to me.

I had my evo impounded too.. The law states that a tow truck company is responsible for any damage they cause to a vehicle.. The police officer should have filed a report about vehicle condition prior to the car being loaded on the flat-bed.. If he didnt then the tow truck company is going to have a hard time proving that they did not do the damage..

Yeah make sure you have a COMPLETE story. Subpena BOTH the cops and question them, they would have to show up too. Take pictures of the road, the paint scrapes on the road everything. You will win, FIGHT.

just pay and think you were in vagas and lost some money
pigs in maryland don't follow the rules
i was driving with my grandma the other day in my STi the cop just pulled behind me over outta nowhere and said i didn't turn my lights on which it was only 5 pm
if you went to court and did get these 2 pigs in trouble they had all your info
next time they see you they wont be very nice also the damge to the car
could be fixed by insurance
