Damn I finally read all the posts from both sites.. Even though some s2k owners say that they don't like the article and want it removed, they still go on to talk their bs about our cars... I have a few friends that own s2000's, they are all stock... Well 2 of them have a body kit and some aftermarket rims... For modifications, I believe the s2k has to have a crapload of money dropped down in order to have it atleast 300 hp, 10k for 300 hp... As for racing from a roll, show me a professional track where they start off a real car race from a roll....... (drum roll) I rather own a miata, they're both about the same size and the performance is as well, plus miata's are a bit cheaper and weigh less! Oh yea, there are 2 things I do like about the homo (short for honda motorsports), the fact that the car finally kicks its v-tech in again 8500 rpms when I drove my friends s2k's, and also the fact that you can start the car by pushing a button 8- )

granted those are ferrarri's but you get the idea...

 

an S2000 in a parking lot? nope, doesn't look out of place at all

 

Looks out of place to me. When I see 2 ferrari and a pos in the middle, it is out of place.

Now if you put a evo in the middle, Ill say hmmm I wonder, If the evo could take those.
When I see a s2 there, I say wtf is that car doing here.

The ONLY thing the S2000 has over the Evo MAYBE,...is the autocross ONLY cuz it's a smaller lighter car. The S2000 would DIE against an Evo even on it's best day. the Evo makes more power outta the box...so it already won the dyno comp. An S2000 can't touch it on the strip either and the S2000 shouldn't even try on the time attack cuz the Evo is on one of the best handling cars out there. I like S2000's but it'll jus be another kill story ont the Evo's race history

 

So how does it feel *trying* to keep up with that in your S2000?

 

I can't tell because they are 2-3 cars back by 120...

Are you like 16 or something. No one should ever brag about how hard a stock S2000 pulls at 120. It just shows you haven't driven many fast cars.
Trust me, I used to own an S2000.

 

It sure as hell pulls harder than a stock EVO that's for sure.
