Fastest Evo8 MR in the country!!

To my knowledge this is the quickest MR in the country right now. Its my friends car... who is also the the owner of MZM in Texas.

MODS: Apexi turbo kit, turbo back exhaust, hks cams, Ecutek'd stock ecu(MZM tuned)
.

Everything else is stock... stock clutch, intake, block, tranny etc.. this car is still full weight, even made the run with the spare tire in the car. Car was run on 105 unleaded race gas. He is going to the track tonight and turning the boost up hoping for a faster time with a better sixty foot.

Not sure what exhaust... maybe the owner will chime in and let us know.

What impresses me the most is it still on stock ecu, maf, and clutch.

I bet with a good driver that thing could dip into 10s, if not then very close.

I was thinking the same thing. I could navigate that thing into the 10's!

I believe it's a 3.5" APS catback with APS dp and test pipe. Saw it on Mohammed's car when I was over at his shop a few weeks ago.

Thought the driving was good given the fact that I had to feather the throttle off the line on the launch with all four wheels spinning . My best sixty ft that day was a 1.81, average anywhere from 124-126mph in full street trim.

Here is a summary of what the vehicle has:

*720cc Greddy ND Fuel Injectors & Perrin Fuel Rail

*255 LPH Fuel Pump

*APS FMIC

*HKS 280 Cams

*26psi, Isuma RX6 APEXI Turbo

*105 unleaded fuel

*Stock ECU Custom MZM EcuTek Re-Flash

*Stock Ignition, only Iridium One Step Colder plugs

*Full Street Trim

*3.5" APS Exhuast TBE Modified to fit the RX6 Apexi Down Pipe

These runs were made at 386whp/329TQ, since then we have increased the boost levels to 28psi & power output is at 400.4whp/343TQ.

Interestingly enough we have not managed to max out the frequency output of the MAF. So if time permits we will be doing some tuning later today & if the MAF cooperates then we should be able to yield approximately 420-450whp, which should put the car in the high tens at 130mph plus.

Anybody want to drive .

Yah that was actaully me video taping and stating that! Its seems to be a catch phrase now. The black evo's best time that night (i think) was 13.8 @ 107 but i would have to watch the video again to make sure.

That comment was suppose to be edited out of the vid , that guy was having some serious spark blow out issues as he installed his own ignition amplifier with horrible wiring skills. One of the crimps came loose on that run… Always solder, you should never use horrible crimp connects on any reference signal wires that have anything to do with ECU communication.
