Ah that was meant as a joke lol. Just mean to say people tend to have no clue what an evo is unlike other cars where no explanation is necessary. Wasn't sayin anything about you man.

I've never been asked, but I would say that I bought my regular Evo because the MR wasn't out in 2003 and it doesn't come in Yellow!

People who would ask a dumb question like that are only doing so because they read about the MR in a magazine. And if the MR was such hot stuff to them then they would have one and be on Evom.

the ssl option is nice and that is probably the only thing I woudl spend more money on. However, I am content having my top lighter.

best motoring international did comparison on the jdm MR and evo vill GSR, MR has lower center of gravity and it handles even better during slalom testing, check out the video, the difference is minor only if you take the car to extreme.

actually the MR is not heavier than evo viii , the 6 speed tranny is heavier. but if you compare the 05 MR to 03, 04 evo vill, yes MR is little heavier, cuz 03 04 don't have acd, but if you compare 05 MR to 05 evo vill MR is bit lighter
