Question Where to now?

Well ive owned the car for a little under a year now and im still loving every second of it. Wouldn't give it up for anything. At the beginning i guess you could say i went down your "typical" mod path with the Injen intake and HKS SSQV VTA. I slowly realized that this wasn't in fact an ideal setup and slowly began to swap things out like the SSQV for the new Forge RS and so on. (the intake is still in: ) )

Current Set Up:
HKS 264i/272e
Fidanza Cam Gears @ -2,-2
Walbro FP
Forge RS BOV *
Buschur LICP *
Injen Intake w/ UICP
10.5 Hotside *
Buschur 3" catless TBE
DNP 02 Housing
Hallman MBC @ 23psi
Big Al tuned.

*Installed after tune.

In your opinion, what is the next step?

truthfully....i feel like it can get really expensive and i dont know enough about it. Seems like a hassle to get tuned with it as well as far as a race gas/alky maps then a street map etc. Could be way off

How about doing some exterior mods if you don't have any?

Alky isn't expensive, especially considering the gains. 500 bucks for a kit, 12 bucks a gallon for alky. One gallon should last 2 or 3 tanks of gas. So you're looking at paying roughly 4-5 bucks extra every fill up for 40+ more horse power.

If you don't want to go that route, I would look at getting your manifold ported and coated, getting a new intercooler, or even maybe getting a tommi makinen, evo9, or some other bolt on turbo.

There are a lot of different routes you can go, but I was sitting exactly where you're sitting and I ended up just getting a turbo kit. I love making 400hp at the wheels on 93 with no alky, and if that sounds nice to you, and you have 3500 for a kit and a tune, call up TurboTrix IMO =)

Thanks 4Tun8, love the setup by the way. Love the #'s even more. For now though i plan to hold off on any turbo upgrade and/or alky kit. Basically, im looking to replace a weak link or stock restriction (ie. FMIC, injectors, etc) that may be holding power back. I just want to make sure i find the right restriction.

As far as exterior mods i love my current setup.

If you dont want to upgrade the turbo yet it look like the options you have left are alcohol injection, Bigger FMIC and stroker.
