I think it can be done but not on 10k alone. I mean GT3's, Z06's and cars of the sort are track bred. The labor alone is going to kill you, then you're looking at running those cars with Motons? It can be done without running moton's but it's going to take a lot of suspension, engine, and brake work.

It seems that you are worried about engine reliability too, I don't think that's your problem as much as transfer cases, transmissions, and beefier differentials are. You need to upgrade that stuff when it comes to reliability the 4g63 is pretty stout.

You can always get an O2 dump or Downipe with cutout in place of an expensive TBE.

Plus you definitely don't need a 2.3 block or a 3076r to get there. Not saying your list is bad, I'm just saying that you don't necessarily need to spend that kind of money to make a competent 500whp Evo.

Full bolt ons, Cams, FP Green or RED turbo, FIC 1050 injectors with an E85 Tune @ 28psi- easy 400 +whp (even without cams)
good suspension work, wider tires with R compounds and a good driver.
check out i think it was modified magazine a while back they took an evo 8 and spent i think it was 13k in upgrades made 380whp and beat an 08 srt-10 viper by 3+ seconds on the track.
now the GT3 really only has suspension on you i mean its at 415 hp and if your at 400whp your good to go. not a hard goal at all
