Since I got the AMS IC, it's kinda difficult to see the lower IC pipe, or even access it at that. My S2000 may have been a torqueless wonder, but damn was it reliable.

it's probably one of the intercooler pipes popping off. Get some t-bolts it will help them stay on.

When mine came off I was able to get it to about 25-30 to limp home. Definitely wasn't able to get it much faster.

wouldnt yall think that before installing any sort of hard pipes (IC pipes, or exhaust) then you'd need some harder motor mounts?

i mean the engine moves around alot on those stock rubber mounts once you give it gas and start shifting, i would say that would have some impact on those pipes popping off like that, (assuming that it was your IC pipe that came off)

Sorry man, no hard feelings. Just a real long and crappy night. Try explaining to your wife why your car is fu*ked up after you just spet $4k on it. Not an easy thing to do by all means.

I have had the IC piping blow off on me in 2 different spots. The first was at the thottle body, and the cel came on, car ran like crap. Second was at a boot about a foot and a half away from the TB, car ran, no codes, just no boost. So I would say check the boot at the TB, since you said you had to limp home.

I checked all the piping except for the lower one which is not very accessible, especially when there is water on the ground. I'm just gonna hope for the better and hope it's an IC pipe. If not, i'll take the loss and sell her. Wow, only 9500 miles too, on an 04.

are you even hitting boost? if its an ic pipe you wouldnt be able to create boost if its completely popped off.

Think about it though, you came in with lower boost and left with a lot more...the intercooler hose was probably on tight enough for whatever psi u were running beforehand
