O2 Warranty Problem.
Is it the rear o2 sensor? www.mitsubishiparts.com looks like they have them pretty cheap.

dude, when I took my 9 into the dealership to get my leaking tranny fix at 700 mile. They told me right in the face, DO NOT MOD THE CAR BECAUSE MITSU CORP WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. Did this help you? old saying, if you want to play, you got to pay.
Wanna hear also what really pissed me off I told the dealer what my check engine light was it was for a for a bad O2 sensor. The car also has a bad rear quarter window gasket from day one and the rear passenger window leaves grease marks on my window. Well anyway the dealer knew my car had a aftermarket exhaust on the dam car. If they knew they were goin to deny my warranty why the hell even waste my time and money (yes they charged me) for telling me what they already knew( they were not goin to warranty my O2 sensor from the start). That is some shady stuff.
