I can't find Red line MTL fluid at any store and I don't hve time to order it can anyone please tell me the best tranny fluid to use besides red line. Is AMS any good and how much volume is the pan (3 qts?)

 

BG Syncroshift. Great stuff. It has been around forever with the DSMs.

Check your area for pepboys/autozone/etc. you might get lucky.

Go to a local speed shop...

 

I already checked no luck I live in MD there are no good shops around

Amsoil is good stuff.

 

I found Amsoil how is that compared to re line some say its much better some say red line is better whats the facts

 

Pennzoil Synchromesh. Advance Auto Parts and AutoZone stock it usually. If not, go to a GM dealership and get GM Synchromesh. Its the same as Pennzoil Synchormesh (literally) but its twice as expensive. But if you need it and don't mind paying $10 a qt, that'd be your best bet. Check Advance and Autozone first though.

 

have it overnighted from the lancer shop,( BG syncroshift)Dont even think about redline,it did in my trans., and t/c in my 03 8

join DCEVOCLUB.com since you are a local Marylander. There are alot of good shops in MD and VA. If you dont have time to order fluid than do what twinscrewed said and get the Penzoil Synchromesh from Auto Zone, Pep Boys or Advance Auto.
