I got reflashed by Al the other night and apparently its stupid to know how much power you have, and im an idiot for asking... but I could care less what he thinks is stupid, I still want to know how much power I am making. so how about it fella's (and ladies), are there any AWD dyno's around the area or better yet, a dyno day type deal coming up soon? thanks

Well Tuning Technologies has a dynojet awd dyno. They're located in Colton, Ca. There's a vishnu dyno weekend May 12-14 but I'm pretty sure it's booked solid. They're open whenever otherwise.

 

www.harmanmotive.com has a four wheel dyno. They're located in Torrance, CA.

Go to Tuning Tech before the May dyno weekend with Shiv. Thet can take you in. TT has excellent customer service. I have yet to hear one person say bad things about them.

They tuned my car. While other tuners will give you two or three dyno runs for a custom tune (eg, Turbo Trix), Tuning Tech did THIRTY ONE dyno pulls to tune my car.

There is a guy on the Socalevo forums who put his dynoflashed car on the dyno. It turns out that his car was running pig rich and the power was not there. I hope that this is not the case for you. But if it is, do not despair, Alfred can fix it with an SAFC. All you have to do is flash your car back to stock for $50 and get an SAFC installed.

With a TBE, filter and JDM DV, Alfred can get you 300 whp with a conservative tune.

haha it didnt make sense to me either. I asked how much power my car was making and he went on about some bs that us "young kids" are only about the power and don't car if the car is running smoother blah blha. I was like what the **** are you talking about guy, I just want to know how much power i am making. al goes, "why". and i respond BECAUSE I JUST F**** PAID YOU. al says,"well you car is ****ed up, its not holding boost" ok yea, its dropping off to 16 lbs in 2nd, but 3rd and 4th its holding it at around 18-19lbs... I dont see the problem. Then al gives me this analogy . "your an idiot, you asking me that is like asking your doctor to run a marathon after you have a heart attack" WHAT THE *&^$... i dunno. the car feels strong and im not bashing the tune it self, but I honestly felt dumber after spending a couple hours with this guy. Any questions i asked, he seemed to get offended by or something... I told him, " **** Al, I want to learn about whats going on with my car, not just sit here with my thumb up my ***, and when your done have to clue what just happened" , he reply's, "oh well, shut up and let me worry about not crashing your car." WOW. lets just say I just wanted the tune and to get the hell out. OH and frosting on the cake. I had to drive the guy home that was getting his car tuned before mine because in al's words," i made the human mistake of ****ing up" To let you guys know, I have no problem with the tune, its just i honestly don't know what Al is talking about half the time, I feel like he pulls half the reasons for things out of his ***. I always thought when reading all these random posts about al that it was because they were just being *****'s and couldn't take a little verbal abuse(which honestly wasnt bad, hes just kinda vulgar), but everything i wrote were words directly out of his mouth... quite an experience none the less
