David Buschur @ Vivid in AZ. 417WHP MD pics too!

I do have to say that I am glad to have gone to phoenix with Ray to get his car tuned by Dave Buschur while he was at Vivid racing. It seemed that he knows a lot about tuning, as it took him a very short time(~2hours) to tune Ray's AEM. Ray is, to say the least, very happy! Ray previously had his car tuned by PDT, and it was pretty clear that the tune was not done correctly as there were idle problems and gaps in the fuel maps. Within ten minutes, Dave had the car idling better than it ever had with the Aem. Ray can elaborate on this, I'm only here to post pics.

Congrats to Ray Raulston for his 417 whp and 366 trq @ 25psi on Mustang Dyno! very conservative tune with AFR's in the 10's.

Here the list of his mods:

Halman MBC, Walbro 255, ARP head studs, Full-Race turbo kit with GT-30XXr turbo, PWR radiator, 780 precision injectors, ACT XT-SS clutch, Defi Gauges, AEM 30-1313u EMS, Azenis rt-615 x 255 tires, Buschur mini battery kit, Buschur cat back, Buschur upper intercooler piping, Permacool fan, K&N Filtration, Unorthadox pullies, HKS 272/272, HKS turbo timer

Sorry about the pics, I had to compress them so you can't see the numbers on the graph, but the red is whp, blue is trq, and boost is black. Look how rock steady the boost is! and how smooth the hp and trq curves are!

congrats on the tune. the car looks good. I had a turbo setup on the last car and it ran like poop until I took it to be tuned. Amazing what a day at the dyno can do. 327 at the wheels when the car was only 235 before. Tuning is where its at.

Buschur CAT BACK? I take it he still has the stock DP and cat in the car? If so, that's pretty impressive...

Damn, I stopped by around 4 yesterday, but the place was closed, and it felt really wierd to just go in back and ask questions... Maybe I should have.

Scot(Moto17),

How come you guys did not call me to go?, I would have love to see Rays car running well and you know I love to see the tuning stuff not to mention I would like to met David Burschur in person.

Last time I spoke with Ray(at IAperformance last week during Als tuning) Ray told me that he was going to go to Las Vegas to get his car tune by Buschur.

Anyway, I am very very happy for Ray, he called me last night and I called him back but no response.

I can't describe how happy I am for Ray, he is a guy that bends over for you to have your car fix first before he can even fix his own. After all this time having his car runing trashy I am very happy for him to have his car finally done.

Ray, congrats. I will see your car soon. By theway, I am bringing my cars to you soon for some work.

Scott, thanks for the update. David Buschur, congrats on your tuning.

Last but not least, this is a question/clarification, those Dyno numbers were on 100oct right? I know that Ray only runs 100OCT.. just wondering

Carlos

One more question. Was that whp/tq with the 75 shot NOS on or without it?. Last time the 75 shot NOS netted him a 48whp on the same dyno that is why I am asking.

Thanks!!

Carlos
