Well , i dont understand what your implying as far as knockoff's as i understand megan racing coilovers are identical to some other coilover on the market except at that factory, they just add megan stickers...

I Officially have the first set of megan coilovers out of everyone hear (at least a year)

So i know first rate that their products are just the same as a name brand, just relabeled...

Maybe this is their "track" (meaning a relabeling of someone elses)

The reason i got the first set is because i volunteered to test it for my shop (personal friend)

 

What name brand are the Megan c/o's the same as?

 

Apex'i, Helix, D2, and few others are pretty much same as Megan's. And a lot of private label coilovers from a few vendors here and TEIN are made in Taiwan or China these days as well. Welcome to global economy and power of outsourcing
The quality is definitely there. So you guys should use w/ confidence

Wow, those Megan Racing Track coilovers have a much higher spring rate! 12K in front and 10K rear. You got to post a review of them when you put them on.

 

higher spring rate = stiffer?

Carlos already mentioned that they feel a bit "soft". (His set up is 16F/16R). I have the regular Megans (10F/11R) and they feel almost as stiff as my Mini Cooper S with KW2 coilovers.

 

^^ People like this have no clue. No clue what he is talking about, but talks anyway. The same company that makes Apex-I, D-Sport and a few other coil overs makes Megan's.
