try a different brand of fuel.. Shell or BP seam to be good for me. anything else i get the whine

I'm used to it, coz i had it in my 97 DSM also.

 

A dirty filter bag on the pump will cause the pump to whine more. Crappy gas can destroy a filter in one tank.

 

Chalk up another Walbro whine. I've been expecting it since I got the pump installed a few weeks ago but it didn't show up until yesterday. I was hoping I'd gotten a non-whiner. Oh well, that's the sound of horsepowers.

 

i got the whine after like 2 days of installing it ! ..

 

my whine comes and goes, i dont know why, but at least its quiet more days than it whines so it doesnt bother me that much.

 

3 months and no whine yet. Maybe it will start to whine,
if I go with larger injectors after installing a turbo kit.

 

can anyone post a sound clip of the whine? just curious!

 

Mine didnt start until I let the gas get real low in the tank one time. I couldnt hear anything until that happened.

 

mine also whines, but I can only notice it when I first start the car to let it warm up. Once I start driving, it is drowned out by my exhaust and radio.
