i messsed up my evo

on an on ramp goin to fast on the bend and hit the curb goin 50. as soon as it hit i lost steering. i think the steerring column is broke cuz the wheel spins like weel of fortune adn teh front left wheel was turned all tehway in while the right wheel stayd straigh. i think the left side of the axle broke. any idea of how much this will cost me? any advice as for taking it to teh dealer to have it fixed? any input will be greatly appreciated thanks.

It's not going to be cheap -- it's going to cost some coin for sure. You hit a curb doing 50 -- you prolly did more damage than just the steering column. Control arms, tie rods, alignment -- it's going to be painful but I would take it to the dealership to have them fix it.

yeah im sure you messed some stuff up, road race would be a good choice...They wont be cheap but im sure the work would be better than a dealer?

Hopefully the recommend that you go to a local track if you want to do some hard cornering, they dont have curbs there that will jump out and bite you

the curb was different than regular curbs. every 10 feet or so there were five consecutive indents in the curbs which i think may have caused more dammage to my car.

Your insurance will cover it if you have fully comprehensive. But there will most likely be a deductable and your rates may go up a bit. Give them a call, they can only say no.
