steering feels sloppy and loose as if the car has no guts anymore.
Just to give you a short take on what happened a while back, my car was involved in an accident but only the back-end was hit, including the rear driver's side rim. The front was unscathed. so, ever since I got the car back it's got this sloppy-steering feel to it, more like a boat-like steer. I don't get what's goin' on with my car but it's driving me up the wall. Any ideas on what it could be?

Most likely one of two things.
1)The accident loosened or broke something that the repair shop did not find. Or they left something loose going back together. So there's still something loose somewhere.
2) The alignment is WAY off. Need to see your align print-out. All specs need to be in the green. Sometimes a body shop will fudge as long as it doesn't pull. What kind of repair shop was it? Some places they may not understand the level of high performance handling present in the Evo.
My test drive for mushy handling is going about 40 to 50mph on a road with no other cars and eyes out for cops. Swerve the wheel back and forth pretty quickly multiple times. Not enough to change lanes but going from lane edge to lane edge. There should not be much body roll and no residual roll and no looseness.

We need more info about the car, accident, and work done.
