I use distilled water, but then again, some of you need to wrry about freezing...

My wiper fluid leaks as well. Its pretty much done it since day one and my hood looks like crap now.

If I brake hard, I can actually get the fluid to squirt out far enough to hit the windshield.

The reason its leaking could be because of pressure build up. Maybe it gets too hot and that raises the pressure. Try not filling the tank completely, and then leaving the cap off alittle.

Lots of conjecture but no answers

I had this problem. Under braking the fluid would just gush out and pool in the hood vent. It would also leave nice looking blue stains when it dried.

The solution is easy and cheap. There is a check valve designed to keep this from happening just before the sprayer. I would recommend buying 2

It costs about $1.85. described as "Joint, Windshield Washer" part # MR388278

Interesting, my OZ does the same thing...only seems to do it after a hard braking with a near full tank. Check valves eh, good idea.
