I wouldn't worry about Mitsubishi leaving. Even if they do tons of suppliers will jump in to sell the parts.

Sales are actually picking up because of the new Eclipse (it sucks but people still buy it...) and I'm sure they got some other cars in the line up that are getting updated.

Untrue. Look at Daewoo a few years ago. Ask owners about their warranties that became non-existant.

Either way Mitsu is here for a while

The last thing they would do is tell dealers, if it got out that they were pulling out for real like that, dealers would be selling their lots left and right. Nobody wants to own a lot for a brand that is going away. Its just like when you are selling a business, you never disclose to your employees that you are selling it or they will all quit and work elsewhere because they have no job security. As you recall, daewoo basically just went away in a day.

Oh come on man, do you believe everything you hear? Seriously take the time to do research before you plague the website with stupid questions. Hate to sound harsh, but a co-cowrker of mine believes the Viper is a 12 cylinder, swears by it. So I'm gonna go to Viper forums and ask them if this is true

I am pretty sure that the Viper GTS-R ACR is a V-12. I don't know if the Hennesey is, but I didn't beleive it when I first heard that Cadilac was coming out with a 16 cylider car, till I saw the story on it. All I really know is that no matter the cylinders, no matter the horse, I want to drive it...

Mitsubishi's bold statement: Need a hit ... or we might quit
Product exec says U.S. future depends on new models

Maybe it was a surprising bit of candor. Maybe it was an attempt to light a fire under the sales staff. But at face value, it was a stunning statement: If a new crop of redesigned models doesn't sell, Mitsubishi may pull out of the United States. story Published: 5/29/06 6:00 AM [SUB][$]

this just came in my autonews email. i dont have a full subscription because i'm cheap but this was a headline. scary

heres the link

i won't be surprised tho, in my area they closed down 3 dealerships. the closest one is like 70 miles away. as far as parts go, we can always get parts online

It's true and it's not just the cars. It's the TV's, crab meat, and, ****** too. Everything Mitsu makes is leaving. He should buy one of everything because it will be a collector piece one day.

Then when they don't leave he could take the collectible ***** and shove it up the family friends a*s.
