Driving with p0401 CEL code?
Will driving with p0401 code damage the engine in any way?
It is the EGR insufficient flow error... I was told it's purely for
emissions and that it's ok to drive with that CEL on. Does the
engine then run in "safe mode" with super rich AFR??
The hose nipple broke off the EGR selenoid... so dealer is trying
to get the part... so before that I would need to drive with that CEL
on...
Thanks.

kreionic,
Thanks for the reply.
But it's not the hose... the hoses are in good shape (from what I can tell).. but the
EGR vacuum selenoid broke... dealer is trying to order a new one and it's taking a while.
So I'm wondering if it's ok to drive around with that CEL on... I've hear that engine will
run super rich destroying the plugs...
Thanks.
