Problems with Mitsu mechanics again. Help
The Mitsu client assistance told me that the SAF-XJ was right, it was made for the differential. I explained that the transfer case is not the same as a differential. I explained that my owner manual indicates Castrol Hypoy LS for the transfer Case and it is a SAE90 Hipoid oil.
To be short: The MITSU CA simply indicated a new oil and again made another mistake. They told that the transmission oil can be used in the Transfer case.
I talked with the Misu mechanic and he insisted that the TAF-X is good for the transmission and transfer case. After a long period and patience he understood that the TC ask for a specific oil different from the transmission. This is why my owner manual indicate twice the Castrol SAE90 hypoid oil.
Tomorrow I will change the oil.
