evo and dealerships

Well, I'm new to the forums. Its actually my first post. I had an srt4, but am in the process of selling it.

I want to purchase and evo ix, but they are really hard to find new. At least it seems that way.

My question is

Is there any negotiation room on evo ix. I found one that is way under msrp. 29990. It has 13 miles on it.

What is the invoice on these ix's, or should i jump on this one.

Really the key is to go buy your evo from a dealership that sells evos. If you dont you will end up gettin raped. I called a few places around me and once we got to talkin about price the sales manager basically just hung up on me. But once i hit up a dealership that had 6 evos on the lot they were willing to drop the price a bunch even tho i got an MR and all they stocked were gsr's. And that price is pretty solid for a new gsr.

Yes, this is a mitsubishi dealership

this is for the evo gsr, there is actually two on their lot and 1 mr.

They said they are making them down to 29990 of course not for the mr though.

I want a gsr, but didn't know if I should try to budge them on the price or take it.

I will also have to pay to get it transported to me which will run around $950

If it has SSL (sight, sound, and leather) then that is a good price, otherwise you're much better off ordering from Southcoast and having it shipped to you. Many people do this, and Southcoast is by far the best place in the world to by an Evo. Again, follow the link.

Thanks for the link. Now, the one I was looking at is actually a dealership in Plano Texas, they have 2 evo's white, without ssl, but the link you gave me I would be willing to pay that for the SSL. That is pretty good. Is it legit.

As for the employee discount. Are you for real? I mean I got your PM, but how does an non-employee get an employee price on a mitsubishi. Would I have to finance through mits.. What is the catch? $400 isn't bad, but I would like more info.
